Mother

I found out about Jojo through the Internet. I went to his studio the following day just to have a look at how he teaches. My decision to sign up with Jojo was because he teaches his lessons one on one and he is not “madamot.” During my first session, I mentioned that I was sort of getting old for voice lessons (I won’t mention my age :)) but Jojo said that nobody is too old to learn to sing. He asked me what my reasons were in taking up voice lessons. I simply replied: “I wanted to teach my sons, Wesley, who has special needs, and Ryan, my youngest, and possibly, other kids, music, through parent/ child music and movement program. And I needed to, at least, have a good singing voice to be able to pass the voice assessment before I can take my training as a Kids’ Music Round Teacher. And the rest is history, so they say.

I love his method of teaching and always look forward to our every session. He will not push you to what we call traditional exercises specially if the exercise doesn’t fit you. But instead, he customizes them and makes sure that it will fit an individual’s capacity. He brings out the so-called talent in you, and the result is self-confidence. People continuing an all-year-round session with Jojo this year and will also take up a refresher course in piano with him.

Jojo, thank you very much for sharing your passion with us. The world becomes a better place with music and you.

Warmest regards.
