Philippine Coconut Authority Chorale

We started to know Mr. Joffer Acosta in the middle of 1990’s when our group, the PCA Chorale, was formed because of our agency’s annual celebration of the National Cocoweek nationwide. We performed not only in our office, the Philippine Coconut Authority, in Quezon City, but also in our regional offices in the Visayas and the Central Luzon.

From then on, our group became known to other government agencies because of the rendition of the songs and the choreography, such as the Department of Agriculture, House of Representatives, Department of Interior and Local Government, and also in othe rprivate institutions that need entertainment in Music. All of these achievements were attained because of the enthusiasm, commitment, dedication, talents, and most especially the patience that Mr. Acosta has shared and shown to us.

He had left the group a legacy that each one of us will never forget especially the camaraderie and the harmony during and after performances.

To you, Jo, as we call him in the group, thank you so much for being part of the PCA Chorale. You have been our inspiration and a very good example of a true artist. You’ve shown so much dedication, professionalism, and a good mentor to every member of the choir. Good luck and God bless!
