Jojo Acosta Lends Vocal Expertise with K-pop group PRIMROSE in Korea

Filipino voice and performance coach Jojo Acosta recently held a special training session for members of K-pop girl group PRIMROSE during his visit to South Korea last month for the 2026 Icheon Young Artist International Music Festival.

According to Acosta, each member of PRIMROSE underwent a one-hour personalized coaching session focused on vocal technique, performance delivery, and stage presence. The sessions were conducted while the Filipino mentor was in Korea attending festival-related activities connected to the Icheon music event.

Known for mentoring several Filipino singers and performers, Acosta shared his experience working with the K-pop act, describing the members as hardworking, disciplined, and eager to learn. The coaching sessions formed part of his growing international engagements as his reputation continues to expand within the Korean entertainment industry.

Acosta was also in South Korea to support and prepare Filipina singer Gwyn Dorado for her featured appearance at the Icheon Young Artist International Music Festival, where she performed during the festival’s “Pops Night” showcase.

The collaboration with PRIMROSE marks another international milestone for Acosta, further highlighting the increasing presence of Filipino talent and expertise within the global music scene.
