Tory Galongca Wins Vocal Category at SM Universe K-Pop Rising Star Search

Tory Galongca, a student of Manila-based international voice coach Jojo Acosta, won the vocal category of the SM Universe K-Pop Rising Star Search held on September 25, 2026, at the Music Museum in San Juan City, Metro Manila.

Galongca received a one-week training scholarship in Singapore, valued at up to US$1,300, along with a cash prize. The scholarship will allow her to further develop her vocal and performance skills at SM Universe, Southeast Asia’s K-pop training academy established by SM Entertainment.

As Galongca’s mentor, Coach Jojo Acosta continues to guide her vocal development as she pursues opportunities in the K-pop industry.
