Khavn dela Cruz’s “Balangiga” Sweeps Five Distinctions at the 66th FAMAS 2018 Awards!

Khavn dela Cruz’s “Balangiga: Howling Wilderness” wins five awards out of the 11 nominations at the 66th Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences, Inc. (FAMAS) Awards held June 10 at The Theatre of Solaire.

Awards:
Best Picture – Khavn dela Cruz
Best Original Screenplay – Khavn dela Cruz, Achinette Villlamor, and Jerry Gracio
Best Original Song – “Katurog Na” by Lolita Carbon; music and lyrics by Khavn
Best Production Design – Marija Vicente, Timmy Harn, and Zeus Bascon Balangiga
Best Cinematography – Albert Banzon

Khavn is a long-time voice student and friend of Coach Jojo Acosta. Also, Coach Jojo mentored the actors of “Balangiga: Howling Wilderness” (see link below).
