Tutti Caringal teams up with Coach Jojo Acosta ahead of 6cyclemind’s 20th Anniversary Album
Voice and performance coach Jojo Acosta has begun working with 6cyclemind frontman Tutti Caringal in preparation for the band’s upcoming milestone album, marking another significant collaboration between one of the country’s most respected vocal coaches and one of OPM’s enduring rock acts.
Beyond coaching Caringal individually, Acosta has also been tapped to mentor the entire band as they develop new material for the album, which celebrates 6cyclemind’s 20 years of making music. The project is expected to showcase not only the band’s signature sound but also a renewed focus on vocal artistry and musical performance.
Known for timeless hits such as “Biglaan,” “Sige,” “Sandalan,” and “Kasalanan,” 6cyclemind has remained one of the Philippines’ most recognizable alternative rock bands, earning a loyal following through more than two decades in the local music scene. The band is managed by Soupstar Music, widely regarded as one of the country’s strongest artist management companies, representing some of the biggest names in Original Pilipino Music (OPM). Their long-running success has made them a mainstay in the industry and a fixture in the evolution of modern Filipino rock.
Adding further weight to the anniversary project are veteran musicians and producers Chuck Isidro and Ryan Sarmiento, who are serving as producers for the band’s upcoming album. Their combined musical experience is expected to help shape a record that honors 6cyclemind’s legacy while introducing a fresh perspective to longtime listeners and a new generation of fans.
For Acosta, the collaboration reflects his continued work with some of the country’s most accomplished recording artists, helping performers strengthen their vocal technique, artistry, and stage presence while remaining true to their unique musical identities.
As 6cyclemind prepares to celebrate a landmark chapter in its career, the partnership with Acosta signals the band’s commitment to artistic growth and excellence, proving that even after two decades, there is still room to evolve while staying faithful to the music that has defined its legacy.
