SM Universe Brings K-Pop Rising Star Search Live Show to Manila

SM Universe, Southeast Asia’s premium K-Pop training academy, is set to hold the live show of its “K-Pop Rising Star Search” on September 25, 2026, at the Music Museum in San Juan City, Metro Manila.

The talent search invited aspiring K-Pop performers to submit video auditions from June 8 to September 4. Applicants were screened and selected based on their video submissions and the requirements provided through the official application link: http://qrco.de/smumanila.

The upcoming live show will bring the selected applicants together for an opportunity to showcase their vocal and performance skills before an audience and take part in the next stage of the search.

Supporting SM Universe for the upcoming K-Pop Rising Star Search is Coach Jojo Acosta, an international voice coach based in Manila. His involvement brings vocal coaching expertise to the talent search as SM Universe continues its K-pop training and talent-development activities in the Philippines.

The Manila event forms part of SM Universe’s efforts to discover and develop aspiring performers interested in pursuing opportunities within the K-pop industry. SM Universe is owned and managed by SM Entertainment, based in Singapore.
