The ‘Carousel Casualties’ is among the newest #SingerStudioAlly

In 2016, within the confines of a modest 20-square-meter bedroom in Manila, Philippines, Carousel Casualties was born. What started out as a bedroom music project, was followed by the band’s inaugural EP, “Madison,” that made its mark in 2017. They kickstarted their journey with songs like “Leona”, “Safety”, and “San Junipero”, resonating not only within the Manila underground indie scene but also reaching the airwaves of local and international satellites.

Following their debut performance in the Wish Bus, and as a fixture in Manila’s prominent music venues, the band ventured beyond, gracing expansive stages alongside global acts like Anne Marie, Daniel Caesar, FKJ, Robert Glasper, Korean pop band The Rose, and more. Their portfolio boasts memorable performances at esteemed events such as Wanderland 2018, Malasimbo 2019, Jack TV MadFest 2019, UP Fair 2023, and ConQUEST Festival 2023 among many others.

Recognition followed as the band earned a nomination for an AWIT Award in 2019, acknowledged for the “Best Rock Arrangement” of their song “Margarita.”

In 2020, the group ventured into experimental realms with the release of their debut album, “Static Electricity Dreams of Longevity.”

Today, Emmie, Pau, Ryan, Tep, and JT persist in crafting music in small rooms with an even greater promise of bigger sounds.
