At 8 years of age, I was a member of the children’s choir at Saint Joseph Chapel (under Good Shepherd Parish) Las Piñas City. After 8 years, I joined the St. Joseph ‘s choir, which also served in the same chapel. I belong to the Soprano group but sometimes I experience some difficulties in getting my voice out even if we can hit high notes. Somehow, it just doesn’t feel right.

I planned to enroll in any music school, but my studies ate my time. During kuya Jojo’s family gathering, he mentioned that he’s teaching customized voice lessons. I immediately grabbed the opportunity even if the venue was quite far. It was really worth it. There were times when even he was saying that the exercises he provides are corny and childish. But they make me understand the concept easier. I discovered that I can sing comfortably and sound good at the same time. I owe it all to him…
