IV of Spades Teams with Jojo Acosta for MOA Arena Return

IV of Spades is a Filipino band known for its distinctive blend of funk, pop, and rock, as well as its retro-inspired aesthetic that helped define a new wave of modern OPM. Formed in the late 2010s, the group quickly gained a strong following through hits like “Mundo” and “Hey Barbara,” earning recognition for both their musicality and visual identity. After a period of hiatus, the band returned to the live stage with renewed momentum, marked by a major arena performance in 2025.

In preparation for IV of Spades’ two-day concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last December 2025, the band worked with vocal coach Jojo Acosta over a four-month period, focusing on vocal conditioning, stage delivery, and overall performance readiness.

Acosta’s involvement supported the group’s return to a large-scale live setting following their hiatus. Discussions are ongoing regarding his possible continued role in future activities, including potential involvement as a touring coach for upcoming shows.
