Coach Jojo Acosta Set for Collaboration with Throga – Vocal Gym
Manila-based vocal coach Jojo Acosta is set to collaborate with Throga – Vocal Gym, marking a developing partnership that brings together local artist training and international vocal expertise.
Throga – Vocal Gym, a YouTube platform known for its engaging and educational music reactions, is led by four-time Guinness World Record-holding vocalist Richard Fink IV and Billboard charting songwriter Johnny Cummings. The channel focuses on vocal analysis and performance appreciation, offering insights into technique and artistry across genres.
The collaboration began to take shape during a live showcase held on March 14, 2026, at the 70’s Bistro in Anonas, Cubao, organized by Coach Jojo. The event featured performances from his roster of artists, including Eumee Capile, who debuted the song ‘Switch’, composed by Johnny Cummings. The performance marked the song’s first public outing and highlighted the creative exchange between the Throga team and local talent.
The evening also brought together a lineup of performers from Coach Jojo Acosta’s Singer Studio, including Norby David and band, Megan Tarce, Cydel Gabutero, Reign Macalinao, and Anton Antenorcruz, reflecting the studio’s growing community of artists. Coach Jojo expressed pride in seeing his students share the stage in a single event, underscoring his focus on performance development and artistic growth.
With Throga – Vocal Gym present at the showcase, the collaboration signals a shared interest in advancing vocal artistry through both education and live performance. Further developments are expected as the partnership continues to evolve, potentially opening new opportunities for Filipino artists to engage with global vocal platforms.
